CIMA @ Do it For the Culture

CIMA is pleased to be supporting Do It For The Culture as it celebrates its fifth year, with the premier music conference and festival.
Do It For The Culture is dedicated to amplifying underrepresented artists, particularly those working in Hip-Hop, R&B and Afrobeats, while creating accessible opportunities to showcase talent, connect with industry professionals and build sustainable careers. After four successful years in Kelowna, the 2026 edition brings the celebration to the heart of Vancouver and continues its work of creating greater opportunities and representation for emerging Canadian talent and professionals working in the Black music space.
As part of the conference programming, CIMA is supporting the Industry Meet Up – 1 on 1 Meetings, taking place August 28-29 at The Beaumont Studios. The session gives attendees the opportunity to have focused one-on-one conversations with industry professionals across sync, management, marketing, live music, radio, labels, distribution and more.
Featuring Kyle “Krafty” Kraft, Everton Lewis Jr., Raquel Bettencourt, Kyla O’Donovan and Martin Mycoo, the meetings provide a valuable opportunity to ask questions, gain insight, build meaningful industry connections and receive direct feedback from professionals working across the music business.
CIMA is pleased to support Do It For The Culture as it celebrates five years of creating space, opportunity and connection for the next generation of Canadian music talent.
